dc.description.abstracten In this thesis, it will be explored the structure of the human Krüppel-like zinc finger 10 gene and protein, its single nucleotide polymorphisms, and how they affect the protein. It will be shown the interactions between Krüppel-like zinc finger 10 with Ski and with SnoN proteins. The analysis of single nucleotide polymorphisms’ potential influence on the repressive function of the protein complex and its connection to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy will be discussed. uk
