dc.description.abstract	Розглянуто концептуальне наповнення поняття «місце пам‘яті» й простежено його еволюцію та взаємозв‘язок з мистецтвом пам‘яті та політикою пам‘яті. На цій теоретичній базі проаналізовано романи Оксани Забужко «Музей покинутих секретів» та Юрія Винничука «Танґо смерті». Виокремлено основні згадки про матеріальні та функціональні місця пам‘яті у творах, вказано на важливість їх включення в сучасний український текст та важливість відповідного їх осмислення. Проаналізовано можливості літератури у студіях про пам‘ять та підсумовано, що вона може бути як засобом для пам‘яті, так і об‘єктом студій про неї.	uk

dc.description.abstracten	The article is considering theconcept of memory place and its evolution and interrelation with the art of memoryand memory policy are being traced. Basing on theoretical base of memory studies,two historical novels written by modern Ukrainian authors have been analyzed.The main references to the material and functional places of memory in worksare singled out and the importance of inclusion and comprehension of places ofmemory in modern Ukrainian text is indicated.Attention is drawn to monuments and names of streets are obtaining features ofmemory prosthesis and becomes an access memory tool.Both authors are not only using memory places in the novel, but are lettingthem to invade into the text, for highlighting the storyline and revealing the truth thrupast moments that have not been discussed.The authors are focusing their attention on the fact that memory place is veryimportant support of memory; by letting it into the text writers unconsciously areconstructing the text, as a part of history.The abilities of literature in memory studies is analyzed and are noted thatliterature can be both as a tool of memory and as an object of memory studies.	uk
