dc.description.abstracten	This article analyses changes in the teaching and attitudes of the Ukrainian Greek- Catholic Church towards elections and their political manipulation in the country. Its main focus is on the Church’s efforts to ensure informed participation of the citizens in elections, considering especially the goals of respective political programs and their impact. Even during the escalated political conflicts of the last fifteen years, the Church kept policy of non-indulgance with a particular side involved in the conflicts.	uk
